If you've ever wanted to help a refugee out, there couldn't be a better time! World Refugee Day will be celebrated around the world June 20, 2009. You can help by setting aside some time this month and including our families in your prayers.

A trip to the airport...

I had the privilege of welcoming a family to America this afternoon and what a feeling! It has been a while since I was the one able to make the trip to the airport, and I forgot how awesome it can be! To see only a glimmer of the journey these people have made; you can't help but thank God for them, and for giving you the opportunity to be a part of this. For any of you who have ever wondered what it is like to be on the other side of the gate, I encourage you to give it a shot. You will not regret it!
